Welcome to Golden Coast Branding ("GCB," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and any brand photography and/or Squarespace web design services you book with us. By using our website or booking services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Golden Coast Branding provides brand photography and Squarespace website design services, primarily serving wellness and mental health practitioners. Specific project scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any engagement are outlined in a separate signed service agreement or proposal, which supplements these Terms.

2. Booking & Payment

A deposit and/or full payment may be required to secure your session or project start date, as outlined in your proposal or invoice.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe or Square.

Remaining balances are due according to the schedule outlined in your contract or invoice.

Late payments may result in paused work or delayed delivery.

All fees are non-refundable once work has begun, except as otherwise stated in your signed agreement.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted with as much notice as possible.

Deposits may be non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, as specified in your service agreement.

GCB reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control, and will work with you to find a new date promptly.

4. Image & Content Usage

Final edited photos and website assets are delivered to the client for their business use upon full payment.

Golden Coast Branding retains the right to use session photos and completed website designs in our own portfolio, marketing materials, and social media, as agreed to in your signed service contract.

Clients may not resell, sublicense, or claim raw/unedited files as their own without written permission.

Any additional usage terms, exclusivity, or opt-outs will be detailed in your individual contract.

5. Intellectual Property

Golden Coast Branding retains ownership of raw photography files, design source files, and pre-delivery creative work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use final delivered files (edited photos, final website) for their own business purposes.

Website templates, design frameworks, and proprietary tools developed by GCB remain the intellectual property of Golden Coast Branding and may not be resold or redistributed.

All content on www.goldencoastbranding.com — including text, images, and branding — is the property of Golden Coast Branding and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

6. Client Responsibilities

To keep your project on schedule, clients agree to:

Provide requested content, copy, images, and feedback within agreed timeframes

Respond to communications in a timely manner

Ensure any content or materials provided to GCB do not infringe on third-party rights

Delays in providing required materials may result in delays to project delivery timelines.

7. Revisions

Project proposals or contracts will specify the number of included revision rounds for design or photo edits. Additional revisions beyond what's included may incur extra fees, communicated in advance.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

Golden Coast Branding provides creative and design services but makes no guarantees regarding specific business outcomes, client acquisition, revenue, or search engine rankings resulting from our work.

We are not liable for third-party platform issues (e.g., Squarespace outages, Stripe/Square processing errors) beyond our control.

Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.

9. Website Use

By using www.goldencoastbranding.com, you agree not to:

Copy, scrape, or reproduce site content without permission

Use the site for any unlawful purpose

Attempt to interfere with the site's normal operation or security

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be handled in the appropriate courts of California.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
